We are Hampshire-based friends – Melissa and Fi – who were frustrated by the limited choice of cushion designs when shopping for our own garden furniture. That frustration became our inspiration for Amelfi. We found that, by sourcing designer outdoor fabrics and working with specialist machinists, we were able to create the exact cushions we wanted.  Projects for friends and family soon followed and, at the start of 2019, we made the bold decision to launch Amelfi as a business dedicated to providing bespoke outdoor cushions that brighten and enhance any garden.   

We now work with a growing number of designers who specialise in outside fabrics.  Amelfi offers it’s clients a unique choice of base colours and a selection of colourful trims, borders and pipings - all of which complement each other.  Not only that but we have branched out beyond cushions… in response to customer demand we now provide tablecloths and parasols in the same hard-wearing performance fabrics to complete the look.

Every Amelfi cushion is handmade in the UK and made-to-measure to fit new or existing pieces of furniture including garden benches, rattan sets, seat pads for all outdoor chairs, loungers and even yacht sundecks. We can also supply scatter cushions with the same chic look and water-resistant qualities. All the materials we use are water, stain, mould and UV resistant which are cleverly combined with inserts to further prevent water absorption.
